As a developer at Quest, you build user-friendly and effective websites for our international customers that all have one thing in common: a desire to make the world a better place.

Your responsibilities

• Collaborate with the design and development team to lead back-end and front-end web development, programming
• You strategize and build custom themes and features that make the most sense for client goals
• You deliver maintainable, scalable, efficient, clean, secure, and high-quality code
• You stay up-to-date with the latest  standards and optimization techniques, and continue our research in accessible and low-carbon solutions

Knowledge & competencies

• You’re experienced with modern web development technologies such as PHP, HTML, CSS, and Javascript frameworks like AngularJS and ReactJS
• You have experience with version control systems such as GIT, Gulp/Grunt, and other tools
• You have experience building CMS platforms, specifically WordPress
  
• You are fluent in English (C2 or equivalent). Dutch is a plus.
• You have a strong understanding of web optimization techniques to improve website speed and performance
• You have an eye for detail and a solid understanding of information architecture
• You’re a team player with a customer-centric mindset and a good sense of humor

• experience with WooCommerce
• experience with design systems and design system thinking
• experience with Figma
