More than half of the world’s GDP depends on nature. Yet for many organizations, biodiversity still feels complex or difficult to translate into concrete action.
Together with IMS Luxembourg and 9 committed companies and organisations, we are putting this into practice through a structured programme that combines group workshops with tailored, one on one support.
We are a proud partner of IMS Luxembourg (“Inspiring More Sustainability”), Luxembourg’s leading network for sustainable development that brings together private, public, and associative stakeholders to explore and test sustainable solutions through working groups and pilot projects.
The 9 organisations taking part in the initial project: Banque Raiffeisen, CACEIS, WEmobility, Novotel Suites Luxembourg, XXA Architecture, IFSB, Ecole Sainte-Sophie, European Investment Bank, and the International School of Luxembourg.
This work is guided by the ACT-D Business for Nature Framework, a globally recognised methodology that helps companies assess, commit, transform, and disclose their relationship with nature. Throughout the process, we keep in mind leading sustainability frameworks — most notably the Taskforce on Nature-related Financial Disclosures (TNFD) — ensuring our approach is aligned with best-practice guidance on identifying, assessing, and managing nature-related dependencies, impacts, risks, and opportunities.
We brought together a wide array of organisations across transport, hospitality, construction, education, and finance ready to take action. We facilitated an inspirational session to introduce the topic and set clear objectives and goals for the work that follows.
We will guide each organisation through a structured assessment of their dependencies and impacts on nature through a series of workshops, identifying where their operations and value chains intersect most significantly with natural ecosystems.
With a clear picture of their nature-related footprint, organisations will be supported in setting meaningful commitments by translating insights into concrete, time-bound targets aligned with global best-practice frameworks.
We will work with participants on developping actionable roadmaps as well as embedding nature considerations into their business strategies, operations, and decision-making processes.
Organisations will be equipped with the tools and guidance needed to transparently communicate their nature-related impacts, commitments, and progress to stakeholders.
Our approach combines structured in-person workshops, on-site assessments, and tailored one-to-one guidance, ensuring each organisation received both the collective inspiration of peer learning and the individual support needed to make meaningful progress.
Working across five sectors — transport, hospitality, construction, education, and finance — we design and facilitate each stage of the ACT-D journey, translating complex nature-related frameworks into practical, accessible tools and conversations. Rather than a one-size-fits-all programme, our role is to meet each organisation where they were, building internal understanding and confidence while maintaining a shared momentum across the group.
It is not too late to join us on this journey! Whether it is helping you kickstart your strategy, or mapping and engaging your stakeholders, we are happy to guide you.
