Fashion for Good (FFG) is the world’s premier fashion innovation platform. Their research, reports, and blueprints set the gold standard for circular fashion, sustainable supply chains, and material innovation. But even world-famous reports face a modern reality: decision-makers don’t have time to read 120-page PDFs.
During a strategic brainstorm, we challenged the FFG team with a fundamental question: “Who is actually reading these, what action are they driving, and how can we make this deep knowledge immediately actionable?”
The answer? Software for Good. Quest designed and developed a custom, secure AI-powered Innovation Intelligence Assistant trained directly on Fashion for Good’s proprietary knowledge base. FFG partners and fashion executives can now interact directly with years of industry-leading research, getting instant, data-backed answers as if they were talking to an expert in-house innovation intelligence assistant
Fashion for Good is the global platform for collaborative innovation to transform and build a regenerative textile industry.
FFG fosters collaborations across the entire value chain, from brands, suppliers and manufacturers, to innovators and funders. Their platform connects disruptive, innovative solutions with their brand partners and serves as a hub of intelligence and experimentation for the latest insights.
As part of a website strategy workshop, we pushed Fashion for Good to innovate digitally and reimagine knowledge delivery for the AI era.
Fashion for Good’s knowledge base is immense and the possibilities are enormous, so it was crucial for us to align on the strategic scope of the project: who are our key target audiences and what do we want them to achieve (faster)?
We engineered a secure AI framework that ingests, indexes and structures Fashion for Good’s extensive report library. Because sustainability data demands strict accuracy, the AI assistant is constrained to respond only using verified FFG research, complete with direct citations pointing users back to the original source pages.
We designed the assistant, but also built a dashboard that gives Fashion for Good, amongst others, an overview of all prompts uses by users and how they likes the responses.
We built an AI intelligence assistant which makes the knowledge base of Fashion for Good more accessible and easier to digest. At the same time, the prompts used by the users – which can be easily found in our custom dashboard – are telling Fashion for Good’s marketing team which content is still missing on their platform. The result: a knowledge base which continuously becomes stronger and more user-centric.
